Odler Robert Jeanlouie, MD 
A specialist serving his communities.

In Florida, where he later moved, he entered the University of Miami, where he studied Epidemiology and Statistics, before working toward a Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology.

In 1990, he chose to return to clinical medicine by doing a year in Pediatrics. The following year, he switched to Internal Medicine, a residency he completed at Hackensack University Hospital in 1994.

Then he went on to do two fellowships.

At Mount Sinai University Hospital in Manhattan, he trained in multi-disciplinary Critical Care.  At Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he became a fellow in Nephrology and Hypertension.  He dedicated the last year of the latter to Transplant Nephrology. He graduated in 1997.

Since in post-training, he has resumed practicing his most beloved hobbies: travel, writing, and photography. He has combined them over the last few years, going around all six continents, writing about his experiences, taking pictures of the locales he visits. 

When asked, he admits that his only ambition in life is to be a scholar.

On November 1, 2000, he founded The Health Institute, a life-long dream dedicated to medical practice, community education, and clinical research.
